This owl sculpture rests comfortably on a nice branch I found out walking. I sculpted the owl of paper mache and natural elements. The beak is a stone I found in the nearby mountains. The tail, wings and "ears" are scraps of wood I found while out walking. The eyes are little acorn caps from an oak near my home. I used ecological natural papers for the final layer of bird sculpture and painted the pine branches and cones to adorn this wise owl. The entire sculpture is protected with an artist's matte varnish.
