This bird sculpture rests comfortably on a lovely scrap of wood I found out walking in the sagebrush. I sculpted the bird of paper mache and natural elements. The beak is a stone I found in the nearby mountains. The tail is a scrap of sage-wood I found while out walking. I used ecological natural papers for the final layer of bird sculpture. That final layer of paper I printed with vintage drawings of herbs and spices. A lovely gentle, sweet homage to the spices of life! The entire sculpture is protected with an artist's matte varnish.
