There is nothing like a relaxing day spent at the beach idly enjoying the waves, sand, rocks, and wide-open skies while ambling along picking up shells, etc. This little bird is made from that experience. The belly of the bird is a shell, the beak is a crab claw. Resting comfortably in a nest of plant fibers on a wood relic found at the beach, it is available to pick up and cradle in your own hands as your own little friend. I used ecological natural plant papers for the final layer of this paper mache bird sculpture, sealed with a coating of artist matte varnish. 3.5" tall, 5.5" long
